In 1923 the scientist Von Dracula invented Vampisol, a drink that allowed vampires to live in the sun. La Capa Nostra and the European Vampire Group confront each other in Havana to control the Vampisol, but Pepe, Von Dracula's nephew, sang the Vampisol formula for free on Radio Vampiro Internacional. Now Pepe must face the Nazi vampires, who use the most powerful Vampisol: El Vampiyaba.

While working as a hotel busboy, aspiring bandleader Carlos Estrada tries to persuade singer Lolita Valdez to join him in a rhumba contest in Havana.

Garment manufacturer Francisco, having lost his wife, children, and home, has traveled to Cuba to kill himself, but Frank's mother realizes that Francisco is the teenage lover who got her pregnant. In other relationships, a gay couple argue over whether or not to remain in the closet, and two documentary filmmakers have career conflicts.

The students at a private girls' school are unaware that the school's doctor is secretly using a machine to extract the energy from the young girls.

A female student wins a scholarship from the elite private Abadon art school. What she doesn't know is that a horrible experiment was conducted there decades ago and someone wants to do it again. A couple of students goes missing and she starts hearing voices that can instantly drain all of her willpower. She befriends a strange but friendly older paranormal investigator, who seems to know more than he's leading on both about the school and her. The school was founded by the ominous Abadon family and its current headmistress is the only living Abadon family member left. She has a special interest in the young student. Two golddiggers go fishing for millionaires in Havana.

Against the fascinating backdrop of an ever marvellous Havana, Vittorio Arditi De Bellis, an aging Italian orchestra conductor once celebrated for specialising in Rossini's compositions, has fallen on hard times. However, some remember he delivered some of the best renditions of the Rossini-Kyrie, and he soon finds himself reluctantly on the way to Havana, Cuba, to conduct the Children's Cuban National Choir. Starting on the wrong foot he quickly finds himself on the verge of losing everything. Rossini's Cuban style and the choir's children are also protagonists in this heart-warming and nostalgic tale of living, loving, growing old and being unexpectedly surprised when he meets the Son he never knew he fathered years ago - Vittorio's past adds new purpose to his present, allowing an otherwise quirky old man to feel his passion and taste the 'spice of life' once again.

Walter, an aspiring musician from Madrid, has a lot of troubles. After finding a videotape, he learns something which will alter his whole life, and put his Madrid problems on hold. In the tape, a Cuban woman confesses to being his mother. She is waiting for him in Havana. Walter goes to Havana to see his mother. There, the plot thickens with the addition of the mother's daughter, and a Spanish airline crew member, who round out the quartet.
